How to Specify UHMWPE Chute Impact Pads

Step-by-step procedure

1. Calculate impact energy. Drop height × tonnage = impact energy; sets pad thickness.
2. Choose pad grade. HMWPE for max impact resistance; PE1000 for combined impact + slide.
3. Specify thickness 80–120 mm. Heavy impact zones need thicker pads.
4. Plan bolt pattern. Bolt around perimeter; do not bolt directly under impact point.
